2011: Appeared in nine games for a total of 108 minutes as an offensive substitute … Put a shot on goal during the 1-1 tie against Fresno State.

2010: Zaumseil appeared in 16 games as a rookie ... maintained a strong work ethic throughout the season, and will continue to compete for increased playing time as a sophomore in 2011.

Before Colorado College: Zaumseil played club soccer for 1.FC Köln’s first team earlier this year (2010) after spending the 2008 and 2009 seasons with Junior FCR Duisburg, both in her native country of Germany ... finished high school at Comenius-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf, where she was the top goal scorer and led the team to a state championship her final campaign there ... played ice hockey and soccer in both Canada and Japan earlier in her prep career, serving as assistant captain of her girls hockey team in Montreal.

"Cathérine has good strength and the ability to be dangerous from a wide position. She can serve a good ball and has the ability to get behind defenders and be productive in the final third."
