Dodd HS

Chris Dodd

Dodd enters his second season as the assistant coach of the Colorado College women's soccer program. In his first year, CC won eight games, the most since the 2019 season. The Tigers racked up a home record of 7-1-3, the best win percentage at Stewart since 2014. He helped lead CC to a victory in the City For Champions Cup with a 2-1 victory over AIr Force to end the season.

Dodd came to Colorado Springs with nearly a decade of Division I experience at Houston Christian University (formerly known as Houston Baptist University). He began as the goalkeeper coach in 2014 and was consistently promoted before ultimately taking over as the head coach.

Since 2014, Dodd helped the Huskies accumulate a conference record of 52-43-8. The team won the Southland Conference Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and 2016.

Before joining HCU as a coach, Dodd trained and rostered with the Houston Dynamo Reserves in 2011. Dodd eventually signed a professional contract to play for FC Korsholm in Finland in 2013, where he was their starting goalkeeper. He graduated from Houston Baptist in 2011 after playing there from 2007-2010. He is the program leader with 21 wins and second with 11 shutouts.
