Colorado College women’s soccer coach Keri Sanchez has announced that Jessica Woessner has joined the program as a goalkeeper coach, effective August 1, 2023.
Woessner comes to Colorado Springs from Minnesota, where she was the club coordinator for the Orono Westonka Soccer Club since 2021, facilitating club-wide events and scheduling for 30 club teams. She also served as the goalkeeper coach for the club and the Orono High School men’s and women’s soccer programs.
Woessner played collegiately at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. A two-time captain, she appeared in a school-record 68 games in her four seasons and is No. 2 on the school’s career list with 316 saves and No. 3 with 23 victories. Following her freshman campaign in 2016, Woessner was named the Most Valuable Player of the Great American Conference.
Woessner, from Long Lake, Minn., graduated from Harding University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in advertising.
