Colorado College Alumni Diver, Joseph Shaner, states “the team aspect with the Colorado College Swimming and Diving Program is amazing, athletes come back year after year to be part of this great team.”
“I think Colorado College offers the perfect combination of diving training for the liberal arts student. It is a serious program, with practice that will challenge you and improve your diving, but at the same time it is clearly understood that you are at the college to go to school.” Colorado College Alumni Alyssa Gehman.
Walker is a native of Shakopee, Minnesota, where she excelled in diving, softball, basketball and gymnastics. She was inducted, as a member of the inaugural class, into the Shakopee High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.
Walker graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in sociology. She has a distinguished career working for the State of Colorado in the field of criminal justice.
