Greg Earhart is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Colorado College swimming programs. Earhart comes to Colorado Springs after spending one season as the associate head coach for the Arizona State women’s swimming program.

Prior to his stint in Tempe, Earhart was the head swimming coach at Carthage College from 2002-14, leading the program to five of its six CCIW Championships and earning five conference Coach of the Year awards. Earhart revived the program by producing the team’s first All-Americans (25 total) in over 25 years.

With the Red Men, he produced 31 CSCAA Academic All-Americans, three CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine All-Americans, and one NCAA Postgraduate scholarship recipient. Earhart, also helped establish Carthage’s swimming endowment, fourth-largest among Carthage’s 24 sports.

Earhart, who owns a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Buena Vista University, also served as an assistant coach at Indiana University (1998-2001) and the University of Minnesota (1995-98). He also holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Minnesota. Â

Known as a leading advocate for college swimming, he has volunteered with USA Swimming, Wisconsin Swimming and the CSCAA, and created CollegeSwimming.com, the leading source of news and information on collegiate swimming.
