Jeff Henry has been named an assistant coach for the Colorado College women’s volleyball program, according to interim head coach Nikki Binetti.
Henry, who brings coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels, comes to CC after serving as the girl’s junior varsity head coach at Pine Creek High School and the boy’s C-team head coach at Discovery Canyon High School, both in Colorado Springs.
Previously, Henry was the girl’s junior varsity head coach at Discovery Canyon for the 2024-25 school year.
His collegiate coaching career includes stints as a volunteer assistant for the women’s team at the University of Cincinnati (2010) and Northern Illinois University (2000) and for the men’s program at Ball State University (2001-02).
Henry also has high school coaching experience in Illinois and Indiana from 1999-2003 and was a camp instructor at Ball State University, Purdue University and the Air Force Academy within the past two years.
He received his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Northern Illinois and his master’s in biology from Ball State. While completing his education, he played right side for three seasons on the club team at Northern Illinois University and left side for 3 seasons on the club team at Ball State University, earning first-team all-conference honors in 2001 and 2003.
Prior to moving with his family to Colorado Springs, Henry was a biology researcher at a leading children’s hospital and Fortune 500 company in Cincinnati, Ohio, and served a three-year stint in regulatory affairs.
Henry’s wife is a native of Colorado Springs and an alumnus of Doherty High School. His three children are ages 4, 6 and 9, and currently involved in competitive youth soccer, volleyball, hockey, and baseball.
