Lydia Flores joined the Colorado College staff as an assistant athletic trainer in July of 2024.
Her main responsibility at CC is working with the school's Division I women's soccer program.
Flores came to Colorado College from Ottawa University in Surprise, Ariz., where she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the women’s basketball and men’s and women’s soccer programs for the 2023-24 school year. She previously worked with the softball team at Ottawa.
In addition, she worked at AT Direct Sports Medicine, providing game and practice athletic training coverage for tournament style and high school athletic events.

Flores is a 2022 graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in athletic training and served as a student trainer for football, men’s soccer, wrestling, gymnastics and tennis.

Prior to earning her master of arts degree in leadership from Ottawa University this past June, Flores served a student intern for the men’s basketball team at the University of Alabama (2020) and a student trainer for various sports at Stetson University (2022).
