Ricki Rothbauer-Stubbs was named the assistant athletics director for operations at Colorado College on June 12, 2023.
Rothbauer-Stubbs oversees all game-day operations for soccer, volleyball, basketball and lacrosse, and serves as the building manager for the El Pomar Sports Complex.
She came to Colorado College from nearby UCCS, where she served as the head softball coach since 2015. In that position, she coordinated all aspects of the program, including facility and field set-up during the season.

In her eight-year tenure at UCCS, Rothbauer-Stubbs led the Mountain Lions to four appearances in the RMAC postseason tournament and coached several of her players to all-RMAC honors, including 2021 first-team All-American Brianna Santos. Â
Prior to joining the coaching staff at UCCS, Rothbauer-Stubbs spent one season as the head softball coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and four at Texas A&M-Kingsville, where she won 68 games in a conference that produced one national champion, a national semifinalist and a national quarterfinalist. Rothbauer-Stubbs entered collegiate coaching as an assistant coach at North Alabama for two seasons.Â

After transferring from Ohio University, Rothbauer-Stubbs was a two-time All-American in softball at Northern Kentucky University and a part of two teams to reach the Division II World Series. She co-captained a 2005 team which won 55 consecutive games before falling in the national finals and was honored as an NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete all four years. She holds NKU program records with a career .372 batting average and 18 triples, as well as single-season records with 82 hits and 48 runs scored. She was inducted into the Northern Kentucky Hall of Fame in February of 2016.

Rothbauer-Stubbs, an active member of the WeCoach organization, grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Northern Kentucky and her master's degree, also in English, from Ohio State University.
