Lucy Gerrity

     
Lucy Gerrity, who played lacrosse and field hockey at Colby College, is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Colorado College women’s lacrosse program.
 
Gerrity brings a myriad of experiences as a Division III student-athlete, coach and administrator to her first assignment in the collegiate ranks.
 
Her responsibilities at CC will include on-field coaching, recruiting and team travel planning.
 
Gerrity joined the CC staff after four years at the prep level, first at her alma mater, North Yarmouth Academy, in Yarmouth, Maine, and most recently at Madeira School in McLean, Va.
 
In addition to her positions as Madeira’s varsity coach for both lacrosse and field hockey, Gerrity also served as an admissions coordinator and then was promoted to assistant athletics director.
                
After graduating from Colby in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in a human development and a minor in mathematics, Gerrity began her professional coaching career at North Yarmouth Academy where she was the marketing and communications assistant, and coached field hockey, ice hockey and lacrosse. 
 
Gerrity also coaches for Tenacity, an elite club headquartered in Emeryville, Calif.
