WIlson eyes Olympic opportunity

Amara Wilson
Playing in the Olympic Games would be a dream come true for Colorado College's Amara Wilson, who is hoping for an opportunity to play for her native Costa Rican national team at the this year's Summer Games in Beijing, China.

Wilson, a senior who completed her career with the Tigers last fall, spent the last four months training in preparation for the Olympic qualifying tournament in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, being held the first two weeks of April. The competition features teams from Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, Trinidad-Tobago and the United States, with only two of the six advancing to Beijing in August.
