Clithero helps Tigers spike Johnson & Wales

Senior outside hitter Anna Clithero had 15 kills in her final home match to lead Colorado College to a 25-15, 25-23, 25-13 victory over Denver's Johnson & Wales University on Friday afternoon at Reid Gymnasium.
 
The Tigers extended their current winning streak to six matches and reached the 25-win mark for the seventh time in the program's history.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Emily Perkins added 11 kills and hit .556 with just one error on 18 attacks. 

Senior outside hitters Laura McQuaid and Carly Gelatt added seven and six kills, respectively, in their final home match.
 
Clithero and McQuaid shared the match high with eight digs, while freshman setter Any Schornack added three service aces.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Robyn Kenul led the Wildcats with seven kills. Sophomore libero A.J. Hoffman led JWU with six digs.
 
CC will take a 25-9 record into next week's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.
