The Colorado College volleyball team used 11 service aces to post a 25-21, 25-19, 25-17 victory over Johnson & Wales University on Friday night in Denver.
CC improved to 16-6 overall with its 12th sweep of the season.
Freshman outside hitter
Sarah Schmoker led the Tigers with the first four aces of her career, while junior libero
Holli Palmer added three. It was the ninth time this season Colorado College has recorded 10 or more aces in a match.
Freshman opposite hitter
Meredith Ballard paced the CC attack with nine kills, while junior outside hitter
Emily Perkins had eight kills and no errors on 17 attacks.
The Tigers will play host to Colorado School of Mines on Wednesday at Reid Gymnasium.
