Molly McGee led a small contingent of Colorado College runners at the Fort Hays State University Tiger Open on Saturday in Hays, Kan.
Competing primarily against Division II programs, McGee finished 44th overall in a season-best time of 20:44.35 for a 5K race
Rebecca Thompson also posted a season-best time of 21:17.64, which was good for 53rd place. Thompson knocked 25 seconds off her previous best time set Oct. 3 at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree.
Georgia Ivsin chopped nearly a minute off her previous best while finishing 66nd overall with a time of 22:51.71.
With only three runners participating, the Tigers did not figure in the team scoring.
Colorado College will return to action on Oct. 24 when they travel to Winfield, Kan., for the NAIA Mid-States Classic at Southwestern College.
