Completing a four-game stretch on the road before returning home for its final five matches of the 2009 regular season, Colorado College travels southeast again this weekend for another pair of key Conference USA matches.

The Tigers meet the University of Southern Mississippi at 4 p.m.(CT) Friday in Hattiesburg, Miss., then continue on to Orlando, Fla., for a noon (ET) contest on Sunday against the University of Central Florida.

CC, 7-4-1 overall, takes a 3-1 conference mark into Friday's game at Southern Miss and currently is tied for first place with four other teams, including Central Florida.

Southern Miss is 4-6 overall and 0-4 in league play. UCF is 8-3-1 overall and also 3-1 in the conference. The Knights emerged at No. 5 this week in the season's initial RPI rankings that ultimately determine the 64-team field for the NCAA tournament.

Colorado College, 39th on the RPI list, has climbed into a tie for fourth in the this week's Central Region poll published on Monday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. UCF is No. 1 in the region.
