Maggie Harkins paced Colorado College at the NCAA Division III West Regional Meet on Saturday morning in Claremont, Calif., finishing 55th overall in a time of 24:33.35.
The Tigers finished 14th out of 16 teams with 388 points, 18 behind Pacific University which finished in 13th. Whitworth College won the team title with 49 points.
Megan Hurster's time of 25:08.06 was good for 68th place, while Margot Cutter clocked in at 25:23.54 for a 73rd-place finish. Molly McGee was 93rd with a time of 26:15.53.
A pair of battled for CC's final scoring position, with Rebecca Thompson finishing 103rd in a time of 27:34.76, just 1.56 ahead of Chelsea Herzog.
Georgia Ivsin came home in 108th place with a time of 28:15.93.
Pomona's Alicia Freese won the individual title, covering her home course in a time of 22:07.60.
The top two teams from each of eight regions earn automatic berths in the National meet, which takes place next Saturday at Highland Golf Course in Cleveland, Ohio. The NCAA Committee selects 16 additional at-large teams based on their performance at regional meets.
Seven individuals from each region who were not part of qualifying teams also will be invited to the national meet.
