Weekly Release No. 10 >Colorado College embarks on its final road trip of the regular season this week when it visits San Jose State University and Fresno State for the first time. The Tigers square off with the Spartans at 2 p.m. PT near the southern tip of San Francisco Bay, and then head south to the San Joaquin Valley to battle the Bulldogs on Sunday at 1 p.m.

CC improved to 9-4-3 overall and is tied for third in the Mountain West with a 5-2-1 conference mark. The Tigers extended their home unbeaten streak to 22 matches (19-0-3) by blanking UNLV (2-0) and the University of Nevada (3-0) last week at Stewart Field.

San Jose State is 5-8-3 overall and 2-5-1 in the conference after earning a split at home last week. The Spartans dropped a 2-0 decision to the University of Wyoming on Friday, but rebounded to defeat Colorado State University, 3-0, on Sunday. Fresno State will take a 4-10-3 overall record and 3-5-0 conference mark into Friday's encounter with Air Force. Last week, the Bulldogs beat CSU, 4-2 on Friday, but dropped a 2-0 decision to Wyoming on Sunday.Â

Colorado College and San Jose State play for the first time on Friday at the Spartan Soccer Field. In the only previous meeting between CC and Fresno State, the teams played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 16, 2011, at Stewart Field.

Balance continues to be the key for the Tigers, who rank second in the conference averaging 1.88 goals per game. Eleven players have scored goals Colorado College, while 15 have at least one point.

Junior midfielder Sarah Schweis leads the offense with seven goals and 16 points, while senior forward
Rachel Herron is just behind with six goals and 14 points. Senior forward

Chanisse Hendrix pace the Tigers with four assists.

Rowan Fredericksen is 8-3-2 in goal with five shutouts. The freshman keeper ranks fifth in the league with a 1.19 goals-against average and sixth with a .746 saves percentage.

San Jose State, currently 10th in the conference standings with seven points, is led by senior forward Kareli Rodriguez and junior forward Gabriella Strange, each of whom has two goals and two assists.

Junior Zoe Makrigiannis has played all but 21:32 in goal, where she owns a 5-8-3 record. Makrigiannis leads the MW with a 0.91 goals-against average and is second with a .805 saves ratio.

Fresno State features senior forward Jaycee Bingham, who ranks first in the league with 10 goals and is tied for first with 21 points. Freshman keeper Banta Domenique is 3-7-0 in goal with a 2.74 GAA and a .589 saves percentage.
Next week, CC closes out the regular season by playing host to cross-town rival Air Force on Friday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m. MT on Stewart Field.
