This Week
Colorado College renews its in-state rivalry with No. 11 Denver this Friday, Nov. 14, at Magness Arena in Denver, Colo. The puck drops at 7:36 p.m. This is the first of the four-game Gold Pan series this season. The Gold Pan currently resides in Colorado Springs by virtue of CC's 2-1-1 record against the Pioneers last season.

All CC games in 2014-15, home and away, will be broadcast live throughout Southern Colorado on KRDO NewsRadio 105.5 FM and 1240 AM, featuring Ken Landau with the play-by-play. Pre-game shows start 37 minutes before faceoff. The broadcasts also can be heard worldwide via the internet. Tonight's game will be streamed live at www.denverpioneers.com.

The Gold Pan
Established by former head coaches Don Lucia of Colorado College and Frank Serratore of Denver back in 1993-94, the Gold Pan has been awarded every season since to the team that prevails in the regular-season series between CC and Denver. In the event of an even split of the four games, the team currently in possession of the trophy keeps it. This season marks its 22nd anniversary. The Tigers have hoisted the hardware 12 times in its 21 previous years of existence.

Last Time Out
The Tigers lost a pair of NCHC games on the road last weekend at 11th-ranked Miami, falling 3-0 on Friday and 5-1 on Saturday. Freshman goalie Chase Perry (Andover, MN) made the most of his second career start on Friday, recording 38 saves while keeping the RedHawks scoreless for the first 50 minutes of the contest.
On Saturday, Perry made 28 saves in the first two periods before getting relieved by sophomore Tyler Marble (Detroit, MI). Senior defenseman Aaron Harstad (Stevens Point, WI) scored CC's lone goal during the weekend with a rocket from the right point on the power play in the second period on Saturday. Senior Peter Stoykewych (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and junior Cody Bradley (Tampa, FL) assisted on the goal.

Up Next
The Tigers host Wisconsin on Friday, Nov. 21, at 7:37 p.m., then travel to the Air Force Academy to face the Falcons on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 7:05 p.m.
