Final ResultsThe Colorado College women's swimming and diving team posted some impressive results Saturday but fell to Adams State University 137-91 at Schlessman Natatorium.
Once again, CC freshman
Mary Rose Donahue won both the 1-and 3-meter diving competitions while teammate
Samantha Buxbaum finished second. Donahue won the 1-meter event with a score of 234.50 and the 3-meter with a score of 240.67. Buxbaum, meanwhile, scored 172.20 in the 1-meter and 170.55 in the 3-meter. Â Â Â
Junior
Megan Gillespie led the Big Cats in the lanes with a pair of second-place finishes in the 400-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke. She also placed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly.

Freshman
Ellen Silk finished second in the 200-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 2.17.16, three seconds faster than last week against Colorado Mines. Silk also anchored the Tigers' 400-yard freestyle relay that finished second. Juniors
Annalise Grigereit,
Erin Holmes and Rebecca Adams joined Silk on the relay team. Adams and Holmes finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 100-yard freestyle.

Senior
Katy Martinez (200-yard backstroke) and freshman
Justina Zuckerman (50-yard freestyle) also posted a second-place finish on Saturday, while senior captain
Carey Colbert swam a personal-best time of 5:55.48 in the 500-yard freestyle.

Ellen Silk continues to be a major impact on our success," said CC head coach
Anne Goodman James. "Her improvement in the 200 fly today was an impressive feat. Carey (Colbert) also has been very aggressive in her training, and is really stepping up in her racing. She is such a great leader in our program."

The Tigers travel to Southlake, Texas, next weekend for the Trinity Western Shootout, Nov. 21-22.
