Box Score Colorado College kept its six-game win streak alive as it picked up a pair of sweeps on Friday during the CC Classic in Reid Arena.

The seventh-ranked Tigers earned a 25-21, 25-14, 28-26 victory over East Texas Baptist University to begin the day.

Abbe Holtze led the team at the net with 14 kills and had a hand on a career-high five blocks. The outside hitter ended the day leading the team with a combined 23 kills.

The opposing Tigers held a 24-23 lead late in the third set, but a kill by Holtze tied the set at 24-24. CC took the next point, but East Texas Baptist scored the next two points on a pair of kills from Mallory Sanders and Danielle Miller.

Courtney Birkett served an ace for match point.

CC ended the day by beating 17th-ranked Clarkson University in three sets, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20. Â Â

Keli Sherwood led the Tigers against the Golden Knights. Both Tigers earned 12 kills and two blocks to lead the team at the net. Sherwood's 12 kills earned her a career high on a team-high .524 attack percentage.

Sarah Barker orchestrated the offense tying her career-high 39 assists, while junior
Sophie Merrifield anchored the back row with 26 digs and four service aces.

Colorado College continues play at home on Saturday as it hosts Saint Mary's University at noon and Tufts University at 6 p.m. to wrap up the tournament.
