Box Score 2 Colorado College clinched the top seed for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship with a pair of victories on Friday at Reid Arena.
The 8th-ranked Tigers improved to 27-2 overall and 12-0 in the SCAC by sweeping No. 11 Southwestern University and Schreiner University.
CC can clinch the outright regualr-season crown by winning one of two matches on Saturday.
Colorado College combined for 84 digs and 19.5 blocks on the day and held its opponents to a combined .071 hitting percentage on 60 kills in 241 attempts with 43 errors in two matches.

Abbe Holtze led the attack with 11 kills in a 25-13, 25-21, 28-26 victory over the Pirates. The outside hitter also picked up 13 digs on defense to record her 12th double-double of the season.

Kaimara Herron added eight kills and led the team with six blocks, while senior
Courtney Birkett orchestrated the offense with 22 assists and added 12 digs and five blocks on defense. It was Birkett's ninth double-double of the season.

Amelia Mouw pounded down a team-best 12 kills in a 25-17, 25-14, 25-16 win over the Mountaineers.
CC was up 16-14 during the second set when junior
Keli Sherwood served up a team-high four aces during a 9-0 run to help the Tigers earn the 25-14 victory.

Rebecca Watson led the offense with 22 assists, while sophomore
Reagan Folaron added nine kills.
