Olivia Dilorati, the Colorado College women's swimming and diving team suffered a hard-fought 149-139 loss to the Colorado School of Mines Saturday in Golden, Colo.

Dilorati captured the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard individual medley races and also led off CC's winning 200-yard medley relay team. She set a new pool record in the 100 IM race. Joining her on the meet-opening relay win was fellow senior
Megan Gillespie and sophomores
Ellen Silk and
Justina Zuckerman. The foursome touched the wall just 25-hundredths of a second ahead of the second-place team from Mines.

Gillespie and sophomore
Emily Harrison each picked up an individual win in the 200 breaststroke and 500 freestyle, respectively, while Silk set a new pool-record time of 59.72 seconds in winning the 100 butterfly. Gillespie also finished second in the 100 breaststroke, while Silk was third in the 200 butterfly.

Zuckerman came close to winning the 50 freestyle race, but fell short of CSM's Brittany Holloway by .34 of a second. Zuckerman also finished third in the 100 freestyle.

Sophomore
Mary Rose Donahue kept her perfect season alive by winning both the one and three-meter diving events, while freshman
Casey Pollard finished second in each event.

Counting the diving points, Colorado Mines held a one-point lead heading into the final race of the meet, the 200-yard freestyle relay. CC's team of Harrison, freshman Katie Guynn and seniors
Becca Adams and
Erin Holmes, finished second in a time of 1:45.34. Guynn posted a pair of third-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke races.

On the men's side, freshman
Ethan Schick led the Tigers with a first, second and third place finish in a 211-33 loss to the Orediggers. Schick won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 54.9 seconds, placed second in the 50 freestyle (22.73) and third in the 100 individual medley.

Drew Ceglinski each added fourth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly, respectively. Schick, Ceglinski, Yu and sophomore

The Tigers resume action on Saturday, Dec. 12 by hosting CSU-Pueblo at Schlessman Natatorium beginning at noon.
