Box Score Junior forward Korbyn Ukasick scored 12 of her 15 points in the second half, including six during a pivotal 10-3 run midway through the fourth quarter, to help Colorado College tip off its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a 69-53 victory at Centenary College on Saturday afternoon.
 
Five Tigers scored double-digit points, including Danielle Davis who finished with a team-high 19. It marked the ninth time in 10 contests the senior forward recorded 13 or more points.
 
Senior forward Katie Waters and junior guard Christina Bowman, who matched her single-game high, finished with 10 apiece.
 
Senior guard Katie Wirth was a force at both end of the court, scoring four points and dishing out a career-high eight assists at the offensive end, and grabbing eight of her 11 rebounds on defense. It marked the fourth time in her career she has grabbed double-figure rebounds.
 
Davis scored seven points during the first quarter and CC took a 12-point lead when Bowman connected for the first of her two 3-point baskets.
 
The Tigers took their largest lead of the half when sophomore guard Francesca Cendali dialed long distance with 5:13 to play before the break.
 
Samantha Lyons made half of her 12 points in the third quarter and helped the Ladies pull to within 46-40 when she scored on a layup with three ticks remaining.
 
Centenary got within five with 5:49 to play, but Ukasick sparked the 10-3 surge over the next 3:23 to give the Tigers command with a 12-point lead.   
 
DeiAnna Hall scored a game-high 22 points for the Ladies.
 
Briana Edwards posted 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for Centenary.
 
Colorado College (2-10) and Centenary complete the two-game series on Sunday at noon CT.
