Colorado College continues its run of five consecutive road games this week when the Tigers head east for games at the University of Pittsburgh on Thursday, Aug. 25, and Georgetown University on Sunday, Aug. 28.

CC is 1-1-0 after splitting a pair of Colorado Cup matches last week. The Tigers dropped their 2016 season opener, 2-1 in overtime, at the University of Northern Colorado before rebounding for a 3-0 victory over the University of Denver less than 48 hours later.

The Panthers enter Thursday's match with a 0-1-1 ledger after battling to a 2-2 tie at the University of Michigan last Friday and then dropping a 2-0 decision to Duquesne University in their home opener on Sunday.

The Hoyas will take a 1-1-0 record into Thursday's home game against the University of Delaware. GU defeated Towson State University, 6-0, in its season opener, but fell 3-0 to Stanford University last Sunday.

Colorado College and Pittsburgh are meeting for just the third time on Thursday. In their first-ever appearance in the Steel City in 2011, the Tigers overcame an early 2-0 deficit to forge a 2-2 tie in the Pitt Soccer Classic at Ambrose Urbanic Field. Last year, the Panthers scored 4:46 into overtime to escape Stewart Field with a 1-0 victory.

Colorado College and Georgetown will meet for the first time on Sunday.

Through two games, CC averages two goals per contest while allowing only one. A pair of sophomores – midfielder Lauren Milliet (Durango, CO) and forward Clara Richter (Stockholm, Sweden) – have two goals apiece to lead the Tigers.

Colorado College will enjoy a 12-day break before wrapping up its string of road games continues on Friday, Sept. 9, at the University of Cincinnati. Two days later, the Tigers host Utah Valley University in their home opener at Stewart Field.
