Box Score The Colorado College women's basketball team dropped a 95-52 decision to Trinity University on Friday evening in San Antonio, Texas.

Despite CC shooting its third best mark of the season on a 40.7 field-goal percentage with 22 field goals in 54 attempts, it was not able to contain Trinity, which shot a 45.7 field-goal percentage on 37 of 81 shooting.

Sophomore guard
Casey Torbet led Colorado College with 12 points and five assists, while freshman guard
Jordan Meltzer and freshman forward
Evan Underbrink added 10 and seven points, respectively.

Payton Katich scored the first points of the game on a layup, TU used the remaining 9:40 of the first quarter to go on a 26-4 run when Micah Weaver hit a jumper.

Trinity continued to build its lead the remainder of the game and held a 55-23 lead at intermission.

TU was led by Elizabeth Balido with 17 points and seven rebounds, and Monica Holguin with 15 points. Weaver also contributed with 13 points, while Rebecca Gordon and Abby Holland added 12 points each.

Trinity improved to 17-1 on the season and 6-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. Â Â
