The Colorado College men's and women's swimming and diving teams defeated McMurry University but fell to Trinity University in a double dual meet Saturday afternoon in San Antonio, Texas.

On the women's side, CC downed McMurry by a score of 188-41, but was edged by Trinity, 125-113. Â

The Tigers were led by freshman
Emily Erickson, who captured the 100 breaststroke race and swam the second leg of the winning 200 medley relay team. Joining Erickson on the relay were sophomores
Sarah Dunbar and
Selma Jukic and senior
Justina Zuckerman.

Sophomore
Jio Chang also posted an individual victory by winning the 100 butterfly race, while fellow sophomore
Riley Wadehra won the 3-meter diving event.

CC posted several second-place results as well, including Wadehra (1-meter diving), Chang (200 free), Jukic (400 IM), Zuckerman (100 free), Dunbar (100 back) and freshmen
India Phillips (500 free) and
Emileigh Rafidi (100 breaststroke).

Zuckerman (50 free) and Chang (500 free) and junior
Kate Guynn (100 breaststroke) each posted a third-place finish, as did freshman
Lani Flagg in the 1-meter diving event.

The Colorado College men defeated McMurry, 154-40, but dropped a 197-43 decision to host Trinity.

Sophomore
Eric Dallesasse and freshman
Walker Martin each posted a pair of top-three finishes Saturday. Dallesasse finished second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 400 IM, while Martin was second in the 100 free and third in the 200 free.

Sophomores
Michael Heinonen and
Michael Wright each had second-place finish on Saturday, in the 1000 free and 500 free, respectively.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Colorado School of Mines.
