Box Score McKenzee Gertz recorded her second double-double of the season, but Colorado College fell, 71-49, to Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday in the final game of the 2017 Rocky Mountain Thanksgiving Classic.
Gertz led the Tigers with 16 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
The PrairieWolves took control of the game during the second quarter when they outscored CC, 25-12.

Casey Torbet scored with 2:40 remaining, and the Tigers pulled even at 13-13 after Gertz hit a jumper 1:35 into the second quarter.

Jade Odom scored in the final 53 seconds to trim CC's deficit to 36-21 after 10 minutes.
The Tigers trailed 50-36 after Gertz scored the last four points of the third quarter, but that was as close as they would get.
Nia Duplain pulled down 10 rebounds during the first half and finished with 12. The sophomore guard also scored eight points.
Senior guard Kate Schulte led Nebraska Wesleyan University with 21 points.
Sophomore guard Caitlin Navratil added 10 points for the PrairieWolves, while junior forward Addie Wetzel had a team-high 10 rebounds.
Colorado College returns to action on Wednesday, Nov. 29, when the Tigers play host to Johnson & Wales University at 7 p.m.
