Colorado College Falls at No. 1 Whitman

Box Score The top-ranked team in Division III lived up to its lofty ranking on Friday night.

Sophomore winger Trevor Osborne scored 20 points to lead six players in double figures as Whitman College defeated Colorado College, 111-69, at the Sherwood Athletic Center.

Senior guard Eric Houska led the Tigers with 17 points, connecting on five of nine shots from the floor and five of seven free throws.

John Hatch tied his season high of 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds for CC. The senior guard also recorded three assists, three steals and a pair of blocked shots.

Senior forward Chris Martin posted a season bests with 15 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers.

Sophomore forward CooXooEii Black finished with a team-high 10 rebounds and eight points.

Senior guard Tim Howell came off the bench to score 19 points for the Blues, who have scored more than 100 points in each of its six games this season.

Junior guard Joey Hewitt led the starters with 16 points, while Jack Stewart and Robert Colton scored 10 apiece.

Colorado College (3-2) faces another top-10 opponent on Sunday when it visits No. 9 Whitworth University at 2 p.m. CT.
