Evan Underbrink led the Tigers with a career-high 18 points, while adding eight rebounds and five blocks. Senior forward
Korbyn Ukasick and sophomore guard
Casey Torbet also scored in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Torbet drained a pair of free throws with 18 seconds left in the game to give CC a 57-54 lead, but Southwestern's Madison Edwards drained a three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining to tie the game.

Jordan Meltzer attempted a jumper as time expired, but it failed to go in sending the game to overtime.

Naomi Brown made a layup 27 seconds into overtime, which helped ignite an 8-0 run to seal the victory for Southwestern.

The Tigers held a 40-36 edge when sophomore guard
Payton Katich made a pair of free throws with 6:07 left in the third quarter; however, the Pirates answered back with a three-pointer by Zhazze Brown to close out the quarter on an 11-6 run to give Southwestern a 47-42 lead after 30 minutes of action. Â

After Tori Carraway gave SU a 50-45 lead with 6:16 left in the fourth quarter, Underbrink hit a layup, which began a 12-4 run and handed CC a 57-54 lead with 18 ticks remaining in the quarter.

Southwestern, which improved to 10-14 on the season and 7-6 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, was led by Edwards with 19 points and five assists, while Carraway, Brown and Cecily Woolfolk each added 11 points. Brown also led the team with a game-high 11 rebounds. Â Â
