Box Score 2 The fifth-ranked Colorado College volleyball team utilized its depth and poise to win a pair of back-to-back matches at the Elmhurst Invitational on Friday night.

The Tigers began the evening with a four-set victory over No. 18 Hope College, then were pushed to the brink before coming back with a dominating performance in the fifth and final set against the host Bluejays.

In its tournament opener, CC dropped the first set for the first time this season, but rallied for a 22-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-20 victory over Hope.

Sophomore outside hitter
Jordan Mullen led the Tigers with 13 kills. Junior middle hitter
Myca Steffey-Bean and junior right side hitter
Aria Dudley added nine and eight kills, respectively.

Haley Harris was a force on both sides of the net. The sophomore outside hitter put down seven kills and led Colorado College's defensive effort with 17 digs and six total blocks.

Junior outside hitter Katie Rietberg led the Flying Dutch with 15 kills.

In the nightcap against Elmhurst, Harris posted her first double-double of the season with 11 kills and 16 digs.

Mullen recorded double-digit kills with 12, while senior middle hitter
Glenna Yancey added 10 for the Tigers.

Anna Gurolnick finished with a season-high 21 digs.

Senior outside hitter Ali Rogers led Elmhurst with a match-high 14 kills, while senior libero Amy Schryer led all players with 27 digs.

Colorado College plays No. 1 Calvin College and Aurora University on Saturday in Elmhurst.
