Junior forward Catie McDonald scored with 18 seconds remaining in the game as the Colorado College women's soccer team came from behind to forge a 1-1 tie at Arizona State University.

The exhibition game at Sun Devil Soccer Stadium was delayed for a little more than an hour due to a thunderstorm which passed over the pitch before 30 minutes before the scheduled 7 p.m. MST start.

Senior midfielder Casey Martinez gave ASU a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute when her shot from the top of the box caromed off of a CC player and into the net.

The Tigers finished with an 11-9 edge in total shots.

Senior midfielder Lauren Milliet and freshman forward Kiley Suter led Colorado College with a game-high three shots apiece.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jade Odom made a pair of saves for the Tigers during her 61 minutes of action. Junior Molly Hiniker played the final 29 minutes in goal for CC

Senior goalkeeper Sydney Day stopped one shot for Arizona State.

Colorado College officially kicks off the 2018 season at the University of Northern Colorado on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m. MT.
