The Colorado College women's soccer team returns home to play its final home matches of the 2019 season this weekend. The Tigers face the University of New Mexico on Friday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m., then San Diego State on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m. Both games will be played on Stewart Field.Â

Colorado College enters Friday's game against New Mexico with an 8-4-0 overall record and a 3-3-0 Mountain West mark after splitting a pair of games on the road last week. The Tigers defeated Nevada, 3-0, on Friday and dropped a 2-0 result at UNLV on Sunday. CC is 7-2-0 at home this season.
The Lobos are 8-5-0 overall and 4-2-0 in conference play after defeating Utah State, 2-1, and falling to Boise State, 1-0, on the road last week. UNM is 4-4-0 away from this year. San Diego State is 5-7-1 overall and 4-2-0 in the MW after losing to Boise State, 2-1, and downing Utah State, 1-0, on the road last weekend, moving to 1-3-0 on the road this season.

Colorado College and New Mexico each have won seven of the 14 contests between the two schools. The Lobos won both games last season, including a 3-2 victory in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Championships. San Diego State holds a 5-2-3 advantage against CC, including a 1-1 draw last season in San Diego. The Tigers defeated SDSU, 2-1, two years ago on Stewart Field.

Jacqui Hand (Auckland, New Zealand), who owns a team-best seven goals, leads the team with 15 points. Junior midfielder
Jenna Wilt (Frisco, TX), is second with 14 points on three goals and eight assists, while sophomore forward
Kiley Suter (Bellevue, WA), paces the team with nine assists, is third with 13 points.
Abby Opperman (Albuquerque, NM) is 6-2-0 in goal with three clean sheets. CC's first-year keeper also owns a 0.64 goals-against average and a .848 saves percentage. Senior keeper
Molly Hiniker (Edina, MN) is 2-2-0 with a 1.43 GAA and .714 saves ratio.
