Box Score Junior outside hitter Allie Freeburg recorded a career-high 22 kills to lead the Colorado College volleyball team to a come-from-behind 20-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-14 victory over UW-Oshkosh in the final match of the 2019 Colorado College Classic at Reid Arena.
 
The Tigers finished second at the tournament with a 3-1 record. Clarkson University won all four matches to claim the title.
 
After dropping the first set, the injury-depleted Tigers responded with consecutive two-point triumphs, then cruised in the fourth set.
 
Freeburg hit .333 with just seven errors on 42 attacks and led five Tigers in double figures for kills.
 
Junior setter Isabelle Aragon-Menzel collected a career-high 53 assists and senior libero Anna Gurolnick led the Tigers with 15 digs.
 
Key Moment
Allie Freeburg and Emma Hewlin produced back-to-back kills to close the third set, then the Tigers jumped out to 6-0 lead in the fourth and final set.

Allie Freeburg and Haley Harris were named to the all-tournament team.
Georgia Mullins had a career-high 13 kills and a match-high .571 hitting percentage.
 
UW-Oshkosh Standouts
Samantha Jaeke led the Titans with 13 kills
Emma Kiekhofer had a team-high 21 assists and Rachel Gardner collected 20 digs.
