NCHC Announces Streaming Plans for 2020-21 Season

Following the announcement of the 2020-21 schedule on Monday, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has finalized its plans regarding the Conference's digital network, NCHC.tv. Fans will be able to watch nearly every NCHC game during the upcoming season on NCHC.tv anywhere in the world.

In all, the NCHC will play 104 conference games this season, with fans able to watch more than 100 of them live on NCHC.tv, including the quarterfinal round of the NCHC Tournament. Among the games available on NCHC.tv will be up to 40 games live from the Pod at Baxter Arena in Omaha, Neb., where all eight NCHC teams will compete from Dec. 1-20. All games in the Pod will be produced with high definition broadcast TV quality.

For fans without an active NCHC.tv subscription, there will be multiple passes from which to select. For those only interested in watching games in the Pod over the first three weeks of December, the Pod Pass is available for $44.95, a value of just over $1 per game. In addition, the NCHC Annual Pass is available for $112.95, the same price as last year, and provides access to all games on NCHC.tv for 365 days from the purchase date.

For fans only wanting to watch their favorite team's games, a School Annual Pass grants access to one team's games for the entire season and is available for $99.95, holding the same price as 2019-20. An NCHC Day Pass will also be available for $16.95 and provide access to all NCHC games for 24 hours from the purchase time. Both NCHC and School Monthly Passes will become available for purchase following the conclusion of the Pod. All NCHC.tv Annual and Monthly Passes auto-renew, while the Pod Pass and Day Passes will not auto-renew.

Fans who already have an active NCHC.tv subscription, your auto-renewal had been paused due to the start of the season being delayed. With the 2020-21 schedule now released and games set to begin in the coming weeks, all active annual and monthly passes will begin being charged on Thursday, Nov. 12 at your previously scheduled subscription price. For questions about your subscription, please contact SIDEARM Support at nchctv@sidearmsports.com.

All games on NCHC.tv can be watched on a computer or mobile browser. In addition, all games on NCHC.tv can be streamed on the NCHC.tv's mobile app for Android and iOS devices, or any of the Over-The-Top (OTT) apps for NCHC.tv available on Roku, AppleTV and Amazon FireTV. The NCHC.tv apps for mobile and tablet, as well as all three OTT apps, have all been updated over the summer to improve the user experience and will be available for update/download prior to the season commencing. The NCHC will inform fans when the updates are available in their respective app store.

Along with live games, free on-demand content will also be available on NCHC.tv throughout the season, including highlight packages from all games, post-game press conferences, Plays of the Week and much more.
