Wilt, Suter Find the Net, but CC and Boise State Battle to a 2-2 Draw

Jenna Wilt and Kiley Suter gave the Colorado College women's soccer team a pair of one-goal leads, but Boise State answered each time and the Tigers and Broncos remained level in the Mountain West table after battling to a 2-2 draw.

The Tigers struck for their earliest goal in a game this season when Jenna Wilt blasted a cross from Jacqui Hand into the net after making a run down the middle of the field just 52 seconds into the match. Hand, who worked her way around a defender near the left end line, became the 32nd player in program history to record 40 or more career points with the assist.

CC held the lead until the 43rd minute when Grace Kaufman-Fuller picked up a loose ball outside the top right corner of the box and curled a shot into the top left corner.

Colorado College took its second lead of the game early in the 70th minute when Wilt put a corner kick into the box and Kiley Suter scored on the rebound with a first-touch shot from the left side of the box.

After not getting on the sheet during the first 13 games, Wilt produced a goal and three assists in the last two and now is tied for 13th place with 13 career assists.

However, the Tigers' second lead lasted just 78 seconds. Boise State's Aubree Chatterton split a pair of defenders along the left side and carried the ball into the middle of the field. Chatterton laid off a pass to Kenzie MacMillian, who slipped a shot under CC goalkeeper Taryn Benham to level the score.

The Broncos nearly won the game in 104th minute, but Macie Nelson hit the left post with a header off of a corner kick.

With a little more than three minutes remaining, Benham made a two-handed grab on Dorian Goodwin's header from the center of the box.

Colorado College finished the game with a 16-13 advantage in total shots and a 6-5 edge in shots on goal.

Each team won five corner kicks.
