For the men, freshmen

Â
Other winners for the Tigers were
Cade Thumann (200 butterfly),
Step Flanagan (100 freestyle),
Caleb Peimann (200 backstroke),
Aidan Richter (1-meter diving) and
Mac O'Brien (3-meter diving).
Â
"This was a great season opener for our teams," head coach Anne Goodman-James said. "We started out with great intensity and just kept it rolling. This early in our training, I was excited to see our closing speed in these longer races. Tomorrow is the shorter event distances, which is Southwestern's strength, so we will really have to be on our toes. We are looking forward to another exciting day of racing and diving."
Â
The three teams will compete against each other again on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. (MT).
