Â
Kiran Singh and
Keleher Felton made the most of their last appearance at Stewart Field, leading the Colorado College men's soccer team to a 6-0 victory over Schreiner University on an otherwise blustery Sunday afternoon.
Â
Singh recorded his third brace of the season and set up two other goals to record a career-best six points in a single game.
Â
The senior forward improved his career totals to 19 goals and 46 points, which ties him for 27th and 46th on the program's career lists, respectively.
Â
At the defensive end of the pitch, Felton made five saves while recording his 24th career victory, which ranks fifth in program history.
Â
With a little more than a minute remaining in the game, he stopped Seth Shepperd's penalty kick with a lunging save to his right to preserve his eighth career shutout, which ties him for eighth on CC's all-time chart.
Â
Sophomore midfielder
Alexander Ward scored the only goal the Tigers needed late in the 14th minute when he blasted a first-touch shot under the crossbar from the center of the box off of a cross from freshman midfielder
Vincent Luglio. The goal turned out to be Ward's second career game winner.
Â
In the 25th minute, junior defender
Mason Davis gave Colorado College a two-goal lead on a header from the right side off of Ward's cross from the left sideline.
Â
Less than two minutes later, Singh struck for the first time when he collected Luglio's cross from the right side, turned and slipped a shot past Schreiner goalkeeper Kameryn Roehig from 12 yards out.
Â
Singh made the score 4-0 when he got on the end of a cross from the left side by freshman midfielder
Remi Maher, putting a header in the upper left 90.
Â
Luglio capped CC's offensive fireworks by scoring twice in the final 22 minutes, both off assists from Singh. With a team-high 10 goals and three assists, Luglio regained the team lead with 23 points.
Â
The Tigers finished the game with a 25-10 advantage in total shots and a 15-5 edge in shots on goal.
Â
Colorado College won five corner kicks, while the Mountaineers had two.

Coach's Comments
"We asked the guys to make sure Senior Day will be memorable for Keleher and Kiran, and they certainly did that today," head coach
Scott Palguta said. "Kiran had a tremendous game overall and it was only fitting that Keleher saved the penalty at the end of game. The team played a very strong game from start to finish and responded well after a tough result on Friday. My hope is that we have restored some momentum and positivity as we look ahead to the SCAC Championships next weekend."
Â
Colorado College Standouts
Teddy Libby came off the bench to tie for the team lead with four shots.
Mason Davis scored his third goal of the season, which leads CC's defenders.
Â
Schreiner Standouts
Iseah Hernandez led the Mountaineers with three shots and two shots on goal.
Kameryn Roehrig made seven saves before exiting the game with 20:22 remaining.
