Last Four Games of Gold Pan Series Finalized
CC and Denver have finalized the remaining games of the Gold Pan series. The Tigers and Pioneers will now meet in a pair of Thursday-Saturday home-and-home series over the final two weekends of the regular season. CC will host DU on Thursday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, March 6, and the teams will play at Magness Arena on Saturday, Feb. 27 and Thursday, March 4. The March 6 game will be televised on AT&T SportsNet.

Last Time Out
Colorado College's bid to sweep a Minnesota weekend fell short with a 4-0 loss to sixth-ranked St. Cloud State Saturday afternoon at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
Easton Brodzinski scored twice for the home team and the Tigers, who upset No. 8 Minnesota Duluth 2-1 on Thursday, could not get the puck past SCSU goalie David Hrenak, who finished the game with 23 saves. The Huskies got all the scoring they needed in the first 20 minutes. Brodzinski opened the gates at the 6:10 mark of the first period, beating CC goalie Dominic Basse from inside the right circle after taking a cross-ice pass from Nolan Walker. Walker then doubled the SCSU lead with a power-play goal at 13:50 of the opening frame. Colorado College had three power-play opportunities in the second period and another midway through the third, but could not solve the Husky penalty kill. The Tigers finished 0-for-5 with a man advantage, while the Huskies were 1-for-3. Kevin Fitzgerald made it 3-0 when he capitalized on a 3-on-1 rush with 7:09 remaining in the final period and Brodzinski notched his second of the game with an empty-netter with just under two minutes left in the contest. Basse completed the game with 22 saves as the Huskies outshot CC, 26-23.

Tigers Opened the Season At The "NCHC Pod"
Due to the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCHC opened the 2020-21 season with all eight teams playing in Omaha, Neb. With the focus on the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, staff, and officials, the conference has intentionally attempted to limit team travel. Because of this, NCHC teams have been divided into two divisions based on geography for 2020-21 scheduling purposes: East and West. The East Division consists of Miami, Minnesota Duluth, St. Cloud State and Western Michigan. The West Division consists of Colorado College, Denver, North Dakota and Omaha. CC arrived to the Pod late due to a postiive COVID-19 test within the program and subsequent 14-day quarantine for the entire team. The Tigers played eight games within a span of 12 days, and will make up games against St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth during the second half of the season.

Cruikshank and Slavin Nominated for Hobey Baker Award

Colorado College has had two winners since the first Hobey Baker was awarded in 1981, Peter Sejna (2003) and Marty Sertich (2005).
