The Colorado College volleyball team had three players hit at least .400 during its two matches on Saturday as the Tigers recorded a pair of sweeps at the University of Dallas.
Junior middle hitter
Georgia Mullins hit .500 with 14 kills on 24 attacks with just two errors, junior outside hitter hit .444 with 15 kills on 27 swings with only three errors, and senior right-side hitter
Allie Freeburg hit .400 with 14 kills on 30 attempts with only a pair of misfires.
In the first match of the day, CC hit .344 as a team and cruised to a 25-18, 25-13, 25-15 victory.
Freeburg led the Tigers with nine kills while hitting .368, and she had a hand in five total blocks.
Vasquez hit a team-high .429 with eight kills, while Mullins hit .357 with seven.
Senior setter
Isabelle Aragon-Menzel dished out 13 assists and recorded a match-high 15 digs, while freshman setter
Jenny Jenks added 12 assists.
Colorado College blocked six shots and held UD to a -.030 hitting percentage in the match that lasted just 71 minutes.
The Tigers needed only 67 minutes to post a 25-14, 25-20, 25-16 win in the second match of the day.
Mullins led the way with seven kills on an error-free 10 attacks and had a hand in three blocked shots.
Vasquez added seven kills on 13 swings with just one error, while Freeburg had five kills on 11 attempts without an error.
Freshmen outside hitter
Isabella Lipacis led CC with 13 kills.
As a team, the Tigers hit .344 while the Crusaders finished with a .059 team hitting percentage. Â
Aragon-Menzel finished with 15 assists and 13 digs.
