Tigers End Season with Four-Point Loss to UD

The Colorado College men's basketball team erased a 10-point second-half deficit to pull even with University of Dallas with less than 10 minutes to play, but the Crusaders hit a clutch three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining to seal a 64-60 victory on Sunday afternoon at Reid Arena.

The Tigers were within a point after junior guard Scott Cunningham hit a long three-pointer from the top of the key with 2:33 to play, however UD sank three of four free throws to build a 61-57 lead with 1:35 remaining.

After CC added a Trey Crawford free throw to make it a one possession game, Dustin Mathis hit the crucial three-pointer from the left corner to extend the Crusaders' lead to six points.

Cunningham scored with a layup with six seconds to go, and after Dallas missed a pair of free throws, Colorado College could only launch a desperation three-pointer as time expired.
