The Colorado College women's tennis team dominated throughout its match Thursday and defeated Texas Lutheran University, 9-0, in Seguin, Texas.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches. Sophomore

Magdalene Gonzales captured the No. 1 match, 8-2, over Mary Eby and Kaitlyn Enloe. Freshmen
Keelie Bennett and
Elizabeth Girian won the No. 2 match, 8-1, over Baylee Parrott ad Allison Wise, while first-years
Malia Rivera and
Gigi Jensen blanked Katie Niday and Tara Molina, 8-0, at No. 3.

CC won all six singles in straight sets, led by Bennett, who beat Eby, 6-3, 6-0, at the top spot, and Gonzales, who claimed a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Enloe at No. 2.

Jensen downed Parrott, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 3 while Rivera clichéd the team match with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Wise at the No. 4 position. Girian and Dicks combined to lose just one game in winning the No. 5 and 6 matches, respectively.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, April 23, against Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, beginning at 3 p.m. (MT).
