The Colorado College women's soccer team plays its final non-conference games of the season this week when No. 20 Arizona State University and Southern Utah University visit Stewart Field this weekend. CC plays host to the Sun Devils on Friday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. MT, then USU two days later on Sunday, Sept. 19, for a 1:30 p.m. MT kickoff.

Colorado College is 0-5-0 after dropping a 3-0 result at the University of Portland last Saturday night. The Tigers, who are playing at home for just the second and third times this season, are 0-1-0 at Stewart Field.

Arizona State improved to 7-1-0 with a pair of a neutral-site victories in Tucson last week. The Sun Devils defeated Nebraska, 1-0, on Thursday and Texas Tech, 3-2, on Sunday. ASU is 5-0 on the road this season, including a 2-0 mark on its opponent's home turf. Southern Utah dropped to 1-5-0 after falling at home to the University of the Pacific, 1-0, on Sunday. The Thunderbirds are 1-1-0 on the road this season.

Arizona State and Colorado College are squaring off for just the second time on Friday. In the first meeting on Oct. 22, 1999, the Sun Devils posted a 2-0 victory in Tempe. Sunday's match between the Tigers and Thunderbirds will be the first meeting between the programs.

Arizona State scores an average of 3.00 goals per game while allowing 1.56. Senior forward Nicole Douglas leads the Sun Devils with nine goals and 22 points, and is part of a four-way tie for the team lead with four assists. Senior forward Olivia Nguyen is second with five goals and 11 points. Senior midfielder Eva van Deursen, senior forward Cori Sullivan and junior forward Dai Williams all have four assists. Freshman goalkeeper Birta Gudlaugs is 6-1-0 in goal with a 1.47 GAA and a .771 saves percentage, while freshman Julia Ortega is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .250 saves ratio.
Southern Utah scores an average of 0.50 goals per game and concedes 2.33. The Thunderbirds have received goals from senior forward Ellie Vasey, sophomore forward Kate Schirmer and freshman midfielder Victoria Caucci. Freshman forwards Evi Anderson and Ellen Lundenberg, and freshman midfielder Hailey Hamataka each have an assist. Freshman Jennifer Kovisto has a 1-2-0 record with a 2.58 goals-against average and a .564 saves percentage, while redshirt freshman goalkeeper Megan Short is 0-3-0 with a 2.15 GAA and a .825 saves ratio.
