Tigers Unbeaten Streak Continues with Tie Versus Texas Lutheran

Ninety minutes couldn't decide the match between the Tigers and the Bulldogs of Texas Lutheran University who fought to a 1-1 tie in Seguin, Texas on Sunday.

The tie extends CC's unbeaten streak to nine games, the team's longest since 2015. Six of the nine are wins.

Freshman goalkeeper Jasper Broad made the start in net and continues to be a key piece to the Tiger's defense. He made four saves in the draw on Sunday.

Oliver Ramirez, a freshman midfielder, scored his first goal as a Tiger in the match. The lone CC goal came unassisted in the 33rd minute.

The tying goal by the Bulldogs came in the 77th minute from Luis Green, assisted by Louis Hart.

Texas Lutheran out shot CC 13 to four and eight to three on corner kicks.

The Tigers return to action at Stewart Field on Friday against Austin College before their final home game of the season against University of Dallas on Sunday, Oct. 23.
