Malia Hewitt each posted a pair of individual victories Saturday to lead the Colorado College women's swimming and diving team to a 147-90 victory over Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

Phillips captured the distance-double by winning the 1000-yrard freestyle race in a time of 11:13.98, then captured the 500 freestyle in 5:30.84.

Hewitt also won a couple races in the pool, the 200 IM (2:16.64) and 200 breaststroke (2:32.89). Meanwhile, Krasemann continued her perfect season by winning both diving events.

Kate Brush captured the 200 butterfly race in 2:10.53, while the foursome of Liz Dincan,
Olivia Crisafulli,
Riley Hester and
Maddie Heynen won the meet-opening 400 medley relay in 4:05.59.

"We have a great rivalry with Southwestern, and today was the best dual meet there's been between us," head coach
Anne Goodman James said. "We finally took control about three-quarters of the way through. I tried some different lineup choices; some that worked and some that didn't, but our team really stepped up with every change. I'm really proud of our whole group."
