Sophomore forward Zoe Tomlinson scored a career-high 37 points in the Tigers' 87-70 loss against Emory University.

Tomlinson went 7-11 from the free throw line and recorded a 62% field goal percentage in the loss on Saturday. She also nabbed 13 rebounds to earn her second double-double in as many tries. 

The Tigers out shot the Eagles in the first period, shooting 58.8% from the floor but the were unable to stop Emory's three point shooting to maintain the narrow lead. 

Freshman Andie Will had another strong showing for the Tigers with 11 points, two assists and three rebounds. 

CC managed to keep the deficit to single digits in the first half until the Eagles went on a 15-10 run to increase their lead to 20 at the end of the third quarter. 

Claire Brock finished with 30 points to lead four Emory players who finished with double-digit points.

Next for the Tigers
Colorado College travels to Chicago next week to take on Calvin University and the University of Chicago at the University of Chicago Midway Classic.
