Five Colorado College women's cross country runners earned all-region honors Saturday and helped the Tigers post a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division III West Regional Championship in Spokane, Wash.
Sophomore
Elliot Singer, the reigning two-time SCAC champion, earned all-region honors (top 35 finishers) for the second consecutive year with an 18
th-place individual finish, completing the 6K course in a time of 22 minutes, 29.2 seconds.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps captured the team title with 37 points, followed by Pomona-Pitzer (73), UC Santa Cruz (112), George Fox (121) and Colorado College (127).

The winning team from each of the 10 regions automatically qualifies for the NCAA Division III National Championship, while 22 other teams from around the country will be selected as at-large bids. In addition, the top seven individuals that are not on teams selected also advance to the national meet.

Clare Quinn finished 22
nd with a time of 22:37.1 to earn all-region honors for the second time, while junior
Jane Mallach earned her first by finishing 27
th in 22:48.9. Junior

rd, respectively.

The team and individual selections to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 13, and take place on Saturday, Nov. 19, in Lansing, Mich.
