Colorado College fell to 1-3 after losing to the University of Chicago Maroons, 83-72, on Saturday in Chicago.
Chicago took an early lead and the Tigers were unable to recover and retake the lead. In a fast-paced second half the two teams scored a total of 99 points in just 20 minutes.Â
Zoe Tomlinson built upon her impressive performances thus far scoring 16 points and eight rebounds against the Maroons.
Anna Fanelli led with five assists and eight points in the loss.
Talia Cloud made her first start of the season and scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds. The Tigers were held to a 35.5% field goal percentage and went 24-68 from the free throw line.Â
