Tigers Extend Winning Streak To Three in Defeat of Schreiner

Colorado College defeated Schreiner University, 63-56, on Saturday night in Kerrville, Texas.

Trey Crawford led the Tigers and earned his first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Adrian Price continues to be a strong performer notching 15 points and eight rebounds in the win.

The Tigers scored 37 points from off the bench and held to just five second-chance points. The win against Schreiner extends CC's winning streak to three and a 3-0 start to conference play, their best conference start since the 2016-17 season.

"This is a big road win for us!" coach Jeff Connaroe said. "Schreiner is a veteran team and preseason favorite. Our guys did an outstanding job defensive end of floor and in the the execution of the game plan. Their zone caused us some problems in the first half but we showed some toughness and eventually figure it out. It was an excellent effort and it's fun to watch our team grow."

CC shot 35.1% from the field but only 20% from behind the arc against the Mountaineers.
