The Colorado College men's tennis team was very competitive in several matches on Sunday, but fell to defending Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference champion Trinity University, 9-0, at the Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Trinity captured all three doubles matches to jump out to an early 3-0 lead. The closest match was at the No. 1 spot, where Christian Settles and Hao Nguyen defeated
Aiden Little and
Alex Kley, 8-4.

Colorado College forced three tiebreaks in singles play, but Trinity captured all six matches in straight sets.
Jack Delafield lost to Settles 6-4, 7-6(4) at the No. 3 position,
Nate Beerman dropped the No. 5 match to Eric Liao, 7-6, 6-1, and Kley nearly went three sets with Cameron Goldstein at No. 6 before falling 6-4, 7-6(12).

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, March 13 against Western New Mexico. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.
