The Colorado College men's tennis team saw its five-match winning streak come to an end with a 7-2 loss to Division II Colorado Mesa Univeristy on Saturday at Memorial Park.

The Mavericks took two of the three doubles matches to take an early 2-1 lead.
Jacob Adas and
Nate Beerman won the No. 3 match, 8-3, over Jorge Abreau and Tegan Hartman. The No. 1 match went the distance before
Jack Delafield and
Andrew Kaelin were edged by Christian Albrechtsen and Tyler Landen, 8-7(6).

Kaelin posted CC's lone singles victory by defeating Albrechtsen, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0(9) at the No. 2 spot. Delafield (No. 3) and
Lucas Pastor (No. 4) each lost his singles match in three sets and Colorado Mesa won the other three in straight sets.

The Tigers (8-5) travel to Denver for a match against Metro State on Sunday, April 3, beginning at 11 a.m.
