The Colorado College women's tennis team posted its third shutout of the season on Saturday with a convincing 9-0 victory over SCAC foe Schreiner University at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with a sweep of the doubles matches. The No. 3 team of Â
Christina Heffron and
Elizabeth Girian defeated Stefanie Madamba and Rachel Rompel, 8-3, while
Olivia Dicks and
Maddy Meister downed Hannah Reyna and Victoria Morales, 8-5, at the top spot.

Gigi Jensen and
Malia Rivera completed the sweep with a hard-fought 8-7(2) victory over Katelyn Ruiz and Blair Drought-Villareal at the No. 2 position.

The Tigers kept their foot on the gas in singles, winning all six matches in straight sets.

Four of the matches included a 6-0 set, including Heffron defeating Reyna, 6-0, 6-3, at the No. 1 spot.

The Tigers (6-9, 1-1 SCAC) return to action on Sunday, April 10 against Division II Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo., beginning at 10 a.m.
